• Field Survey & Data Collection

• On site assessment by experienced ecologists using UKHab, NVC, BNG methodologies

• Use of Qfield and GPS to collect georeferenced habitat data efficiently and accurately

• Habitat condition assessments where required

• GIS Digitisation and Mapping

• Data processed and mapped using QGIS ensuring spatial accuracy and full integration with planning or biodiversity databases

• Creation of habitat polygons, annotations, and mapping layers to illustrate site conditions and constraints

• Production of clear, high resolution maps , suitable for reports, planning submissions, or presentations

• Ecological Reporting

• Full habitat survey report with description of habitats, notable species, and ecological context

• Optional integration into Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, or Ecological Impact Assessments

• Inclusion of Biodiversity Net Gain baseline and condition assessment if required

• Detailed written report

• Photographic record

• Recommendations - for management, enhancement or further surveys
