Who we are

We are a small team of ecologists based in the South west with a combined experience spanning 20 years. Our ecological and survey experience has covered the UK from the rugged outer Hebrides to the sweeping moors and valleys of the South West. We have specialised in upland ecology and surveys, and have experience with many different habitats and species. We cover a wide range of species including farmland and upland breeding birds to schedule 1 breeding birds like Capercaillie, black grouse, Hen harrier and other scarce raptors. We also cover mammal surveys including water vole, otter, badger and mountain hare. We have extensive experience habitat mapping, including NVC, UKHab, Phase 1 & 2, peatland restoration plans, and condition assessments. Our qualifications include FISC 3, River Condition Assessment, River Habitat Survey, LANTRA peatland restoration practitioner.
